ADAMS COUNTY ASSESSORS OFFICE SELECTS CCI'S INTEGRATED SYSTEM TO ENHANCE FUNCTIONALITY

FORT COLLINS, Colo., December 18, 2007 – Colorado CustomWare, Inc. (CCI) is delighted to announce that long time customer, Adams County, has added the administrative package to their assessment software. This complete solution will provide Adams County with the added benefits of a streamlined system that resides within one database. This will reduce duplicative tasks, while increasing productivity and efficiency. “We are honored to have the opportunity to provide the Adams County Assessors Office with a complete solution,” stated Lori Schlotter, CCI’s President and CEO. “We have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Adams County over the past 12 years. They have been an integral part of CCI’s success as they have provided us with invaluable feedback, development ideas, and support as we have grown to what we are today.” Adams County has 178,874 parcels and began using CCI’s mass appraisal software in 1996. They also use CCI’s GIS software GeoWare and field collections software FieldWare. When Adams purchased the software from CCI in 1996, the administration piece was not complete, which resulted in the need for two systems. Since 1997, CCI has had one integrated product that encompasses both mass appraisal (CAMA) and administration, providing one comprehensive system.

“We chose to move to CCI’s integrated system because of the accuracy of the CAMA product,” stated Gil Reyes, Adams County Assessor. “When I took office I promised my staff that I would not make any software changes unless it had 150% more functionality than our current solution. I did extensive market research and found that switching from CCI’s CAMA system to anything else would result in a loss of functionality, while moving to their admin system would increase functionality by over 150% due to the integration between their CAMA and GIS systems.”

Employees in the Adams County Assessors Office now need only one place to call for customer support as they utilize CCI’s team of appraisers who are dedicated to making their transition a success. “CCI’s products are user friendly, which enhances existing functionality. If the appraisers can learn new functionality, the likelihood of them using it increases,” commented Reyes.
