LARIMER COUNTY SELECTS CCI’S COLLECTION SYSTEM
FORT COLLINS, Colo., September 3, 2008 – Colorado CustomWare, Inc. (CCI) is proud to announce that Larimer County, CO has selected them to partner in developing an industry-leading treasurer and tax collections software system. Like most endeavors at CCI, the teaming between Larimer County and CCI began as a partnership built on trust, confidence, and a desire to improve efficiencies in local government.
"We're very excited to be on the leading edge with a product developed here in Fort Collins,” said Larimer County Treasurer Myrna Rodenberger. “Having a natural integration with the Assessor's data will provide a more efficient process between the offices. The entire staff is excited to partner with CCI and move forward with innovation and new technology."
The new product, CollectWare, has been in development at CCI for the past 15 months. However CCI, felt that in order to make the product more customer-focused in terms of functionality and design, it was critical to involve a jurisdiction to develop the solution. Larimer County was a perfect candidate for the partnership, due to their industry knowledge and technical experience.
“The CollectWare team is excited to be working with Larimer County as a partner in the design of our new product,” said CollectWare Subject Matter Expert Cheryl Keith. “Myrna Rodenberger and her knowledgeable staff at Larimer County will help us ensure that CollectWare is a flexible, powerful, secure, and easy-to-use solution for the collection and distribution of taxes and all the detail involved in this process.”
The Larimer County Assessor’s Office uses CCI’s assessment product RealWare, and the assessor’s office was CCI’s first RealWare customer in 1993. They have been instrumental in the progress of CCI’s products, and they have seen the company grow from three employees and a single customer to a scalable organization with 75 employees and 58 customers.
“It is always an honor to be able to serve those who have served you. Larimer County is dear to CCI’s hearts as they have provided a sustainable environment for CCI to work and play in for the past 20 years,” stated Lori Schlotter, CCI’s President and CEO. “We look forward to providing them with a solution that will meet their current and future needs.”
