COLORADO CUSTOM WARE, INC. CONTINUES TO LIVE THEIR MISSION WITH THE: "2008 MAKE A DIFFERENCE CAMPAIGN"

FORT COLLINS, Colo., February 14, 2008 – “A mission statement comes alive through an interactive campaign involving customers, employees, and community members.”

FORT COLLINS, Colo., February 14, 2008 – On this Valentine’s Day, Colorado Custom Ware, Inc. (CCI) is inviting individuals, organizations, and communities to join their 2008 “Make a Difference Campaign.” Their mission, “Empowering Individuals to Change the World,” is embodied through challenging industry peers, customers, employees, and community members to make a pledge that makes a difference in the community.

“The spirit of giving and collaborating for a better world is so embedded at CCI that it comes naturally to our employees and their families,” stated Lori Schlotter, President and CEO. “We want to take the positive environment that has become commonplace here and expand it into workplaces and homes across the county.”

CCI held this campaign last September, and 40 life-changing pledges were made. Some of the most memorable pledges related to: improving the environment, working with children, giving blood, spending time with the elderly, and raising funds for various organizations.

Last year’s winner was Shelley Deromedi, the county assessor in Hot Springs, Wyoming. She pledged to ease the pain of loneliness felt by the elderly population in her county through volunteering her time. “I wanted to let others know that a person can make a difference, even in small communities, where we don’t have many organized places to volunteer,” stated Deromedi. “I would encourage others to join the campaign as real change can only come from individuals interacting with other individuals.”

Contributions can be made until 12 pm EST on February 27, 2008. A reception at the GIS/CAMA conference in New Orleans, February 24-28, will highlight the top three winners of this year’s challenge. Winners will then have the opportunity to select a charity to donate their CCI-sponsored prize money of $300, $200, and $100, respectively. Winners will be selected based on: uniqueness of idea, sustainability (how long will pledge effort be in place), and inspiration it will provide others to “Make a Difference.”

Participants do not have to be present to win.

CCI invites and encourages peers and community members to join the campaign, to tell others about it, and to change the world along the way! By changing our communities, we are changing the world. Make your pledge today!
